Golden Eagle
What is with the golden eagle, you may be asking? Well, there is a story behind this majestic creature and their association with me personally and with the work I do. If you're interested, read on.
One day, in around 2017, my life looked a little upside down and I wasn't really sure of how to move forward or what was in store for me. This had been going on for a little while and then one day, I was lying on bed with a rare moment's peace, when out of absolutely nowhere the image of a golden eagle came flying at me in my mind.
I wasn't scared because it wasn't in a threatening manner. although it did startle me just by the power and the vividity of the moving image.
I have often taken inspiration from the natural world, so I took a minute to think about what had just happened and eventually, I started to research the symbolism of the golden eagle. What I discovered made me cautiously hopeful that if I played my cards right, my fortunes would change shortly.
The golden eagle represents, so I discovered at that time, transformation and renewal, and a new aerial perspective on life to help the integration of the mind, body and spirit, with a whole lot of power behind it. What I took from that was that I was powerful enough to get through and more than that, that my life would transform and renew.
And so it did, in the most magical way possible. It has been amazing.
Now fast forward a few years, and I found myself at another important turning point in my life. One where I knew without a shadow of a doubt I had to be strong, I had to rise above and if I did those things, I would soar.
I remembered the golden eagle.
The qualities of confidence and resilience reigned supreme in my mind and I have, throughout my entire life, been fascinated by the difference in the people who have these qualities and those who don't. It is quite remarkable. While life doesn't really run smoothly for anyone, those who CAN cope in the face of adversity, and those who have he confidence in themselves to forge on tend to lead more fulfilling and positive lives overall, gleaning the lessons from the heartaches or the business failures or the life-changing accidents etc etc, and they don't stay stuck too long in anxiety or depression or anything similar.
And so I was inspired and am now absolutely driven to dedicate my work to helping people bolster their confidence and increase their resilience so that their lives can soar too.
Imagine what you would do if you had the confidence to do it. Imagine how different your life would be if you were able to face instead of run from life's challenges? What could you achieve? How would your relationships improve? What dreams could come true? What work adventure or life adventure would you take on? Imagine making your world bigger. What you could learn and experience and be blessed to witness?
Golden eagles are inspiring for their resilience, soaring through storms to gain height, and for their powerful focus. They symbolize courage and the ability to overcome challenges, representing a drive to reach higher potential and live without limitations. Golden eagles use storms to their advantage, spreading their wings and using the wind to lift them to higher altitudes. This can be seen as a metaphor for facing adversity head-on and using challenges to rise above. Their resilience symbolizes the strength to get through difficult times and provides the stamina to endure, representing hope for a new beginning. Their laser-like focus teaches the importance of having a clear vision and staying focused on your goals despite distractions. They are seen as natural leaders who are willing to seek and explore, pushing the limits of self-discovery and personal freedom.
And so for all these reasons, the golden eagle is my symbol, my mascot, and my logo.
NOTHING TO FEAR AND EVERYTHING TO GAIN
